John DeYoungs' acoustic-based rock, solo C.D. with songs of love, hope and inspiration that will take your heart on an uplifting journey.
John DeYoung has been writing, playing and performing music since early adolescence and through all of his adult life. Over the years he has played & performed with many different bands and collaberated with a variety of songwriters and musicians. ENVISAGE is his first solo project in which he played all the parts, sang all the vocals, and recorded it in his own studio. He also wrote all the music & lyrics with the exception of "Dig A Little Deeper", Lyrics by Linda-marie Monier (Johns' wife) and "Open The Door", a collaberation with Tom Letvinchuck. The album was mixed at Johns' "Grapevine Studio" with the assistance of Robert "Tre" Perry. "When it came to mixing, I needed another set of ears and pair of hands". Tre is an outstanding engineer & electronic technician with many years of Live & studio experience. The album is a collection of melodic songs about life & love, hope & inspiration and spiritual exploration. If you're a lover, dreamer, seeker and spiritualist, then this album is for you.
John has shared stages with Missing Persons, John Hyatt, Arlo Guthrie, Marc Cohn, David Lindley, Jesse Collin Young and more. John is constantly working on new material and with his backlog of songs, look for new releases to be posted on his website - - and here on CDbaby.
